2021 Pradelou (Cinsault), La Terrasse d'Elise

Xavier Braujou created the Terrasse d'Elise estate in 1998 by building up a vineyard of around ten hectares on the great terroirs of Aniane. His vines are planted with Roussanne, Marsanne, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault.

By virtue of hard work and passion, he has succeeded in putting in place all the components needed to produce incredibly authentic wines, true to their origin. All the Terrasse d'Elise vintages are produced with hand harvesting, from old vines with very small but concentrated yields of 20 to 25hl/ha. The resulting wines show exceptional finesse, elegance, texture, freshness and beautiful aromatics. The wines are all labelled IGP vin de pays de l'Hérault as all the reds with the exception of one are made from a single variety.
A domain to follow very closely...

From young vines, this is very attractive in colour and bursts with aroma and complexity. It is open and expressive with wild strawberry and raspberry scents, light slatey aromas and floral lift. The palate is medium-bodied and finely chiselled tannins keep it beautifully poised, tender and intense. Lovely .
