This is produced from Sebastien's best parcels on clay/limstone soil. The vines are over 40 years old and the wine is fermented in seasoned demi-muids. This wine has a wonderful, incisive and fresh perfume, lifted by the cool fragrance of apple and honey. It is clear, vibrant and very refreshing on the palate with great energy and drive. This is stunning dry Vouvray
Vouvray is a style of wine I adore and so I have been on a mission for some time to find a Vouvray to fit in to my portfolio but I'm extra fussy. I wanted something fine, mineral, fresh and mouth-watering and this is not as easy as you might think.
After years and having tasted many I am happy to say that I have found it in the brilliant wines of Sébastien Brunet. Sébastien assumed control of his family domaine in 2006 following the untimely passing of his father, and has quickly become one of the Loire's fastest rising stars. All his wines are of exemplary quality.
